Groom in our van
We are looking for experienced dog groomers to work as independent groomers in a Groomango van in Kitchener and Waterloo, starting in spring 2027.
How it works for you
- You are an independent groomer, paid on commission. You keep 40% of the pre-tax service price of every groom you do.
- You keep 100% of tips.
- The van is provided. It is fully equipped for mobile grooming. You pay a van-use fee of $50 per week, taken from your commission.
- You set your availability. Tell us the days you want to work and we build your routes around them.
- We bring the customers. Booking, payment, reminders, and every customer message run through Groomango, so you spend your day grooming. You never give out a personal number.
- Routes are organised by zone so you drive less and groom more.
What we look for
- Professional grooming experience, in a salon or mobile, with a range of breeds and coats. Doodle and double-coat experience is a plus.
- A calm, patient hand with nervous and older dogs.
- Pet first aid, or willingness to complete it before you start.
- A valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean record for the van.
- Business registration (a sole proprietorship is fine) or willingness to set one up. We explain what that involves.
